LogiMAT 2025: Live route planning through to delivery

PASS Logistics Solutions (PLS) AG will be showcasing its digital solutions for intelligent route optimization and planning from the cloud at LogiMAT in Hall 4, Booth D53. With software from PASS for logistics, planners, drivers and end customers are optimally networked. 

With its business software PLANTOUR, the service engine MAPSERVICES and the web-based planning tool PASS MAPS, PLS covers the entire spectrum of route optimization for logistics, field service and passenger transport. The Aschaffenburg-based company offers its customers numerous application options for route optimization: from free optimization and intelligent framework tours to manual scheduling – supported by individual KPIs for operational or strategic use.

With PASS, the recipient also has everything in view

Customers of the PASS portfolio rely above all on the digital consistency of the system throughout the entire delivery process. PASS builds bridges between planners, drivers and end customers using its own applications and partner solutions, such as the smart messenger-based telematics service from ZeKju or the integrated fleet solution from Webfleet. When using driver communication, the progress of the tour is fed back into the dispatch monitor. The dispatcher receives updates on the tour and consignment status and can immediately respond to deviations from the plan and change the further course of the tour. Concepts such as the digital delivery bill or “Sign on Glass” are integrated into the delivery process.

The company is particularly proud of its Customer Info Service: the recipient is actively or passively involved in the planning and delivery process via various communication channels and is informed of the new arrival time of their delivery in the event of a delay, for example.

Integrated right into the vehicle and to the destination

The software applications are extensively configurable and support the optimization processes of transport companies, logistics service providers and route planners. Recently, this has also been done with a digital dispatcher 4.0, which records and optimizes planning operations in milliseconds based on specifications.

With the new tools for live scheduling, it is possible to change a tour while it is still running. The systems are also highly automated. Changes are transmitted directly to the driver's device via a messenger service.

The PASS Consulting Group subsidiary provides all of this via the cloud and on-premise from its own data centers in Germany. This also reduces the hardware requirements for customers: Storage and computing-intensive operations take place in the PASS Cloud. In the case of hybrid cloud installations, the order data even remains directly with the customer.
